A warm welcome awaits you at our small and friendly bed and breakfast in the stunning City of York.  In December 2015 York was affected by the floods however here at Gregory’s and in the City Centre we are open for business as usual.

All rooms at our bed and breakfast are en suite and come complete with all facilities you need to make your break as comfortable as possible including our King of cotton bedding.

We are situated on Bishy Road here in York and our shops have been awarded The Best High Street In The UK we are delighted you will love our Parade of shops.

We’re only 15 minutes walk from our B&B in York to the City Centre attractions, boutique shops, superb cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars of the City of York and only 5 minute walk to the world famous York Racecourse and a 20 minute walk to the  York Barbican for concert events and York University. Ample free on street parking means you can leave your car here and explore all that York has to offer.

Our Deliciously Yorkshire breakfast menu’s are prepared with great care and affection – using only the best of local produce to ensure you and your party enjoy the perfect start to your day.

The City of York is the ancient capital of England and boasts an array of historical, cultural and modern attractions to guarantee an enjoyable break for all.

The world famous Shambles in York, recently voted Britain’s most attractive street boasts a variety of independent boutique shops and wonderful cafes.

Or, climb the steps to Clifford’s Tower in York, original built by William the Conqueror or visit the National Railway Museum – recently voted number 1 attraction in Yorkshire.

There is so much to see and do, with shopping to die for, horse racing, amazing shows and performances at York Theatre Royal and some of the best pubs, bars and restaurants in the UK.

We are ideally situated for those of you who are walking or cycling. The Way Of The Roses a route from Morecambe to Bridlington is a staggering 170 miles. Also we are on the route of  The Tour De France at our bed and breakfast in York.

With our new menu we  make every effort to ensure our breakfasts are truly special.

Be it a traditional full English, or other options from our extensive menu or  if you prefer a  special dietary requirement we  provide only the best for our guests.

We source fruit from the local ‘pick your own’ farms to make our fabulous jams, we bake all  our breads from fresh, we source our bacon, sausage, black pudding and free range eggs from our local butcher. We even source our honey from our local beekeeper and even make our own marmalade , all to ensure that our guests have the best start to their day.

We pride ourselves at our bed and breakfast catering for people with special dietary requirements including dairy free, gluten free, wheat free and vegan and vegetarian.
