We’re only 15 minutes walk from our B&B in York to the City Centre attractions, boutique shops, superb cafes, restaurants, pubs and bars of the City of York and only 5 minute walk to the world famous York racecourse and a 20 minute walk to the newly reopened York Barbican for concert events and York University.

Our Deliciously Yorkshire breakfasts are prepared with great care and affection – using only the best of local produce to ensure you and your party enjoy the perfect start to your day.

The City of York is the ancient capital of England and boasts an array of historical, cultural and modern attractions to guarantee an enjoyable break for all.

The world famous Shambles in York, recently voted Britain’s most attractive street boasts a variety of independent boutique shops and wonderful cafes.

Or, climb the steps to Clifford’s Tower in York, original built by William the Conqueror or visit the National Railway Museum – recently voted number 1 attraction in Yorkshire.

There is so much to see and do, with shopping to die for, horse racing, amazing shows and performances at York Theatre Royal and some of the best pubs, bars and restaurants in the UK.

We are ideally situated for those of you who are cycling or walking The Way Of The Roses a route from Morecambe to Bridlington a staggering 170 miles.

We make every effort to ensure our breakfasts are truly special.

Be it a traditional full English, continental or special dietary requirement we provide only the best for our guests.

We source fruit from local ‘pick your own’ farms to make our fabulous jams, we bake all breads including gluten/wheat free from fresh, we source our bacon, sausage, black pudding and free range eggs from our local butcher. We even source our honey from our local beekeeper and purchase marmalade from our local fruit farm, all to ensure that our guests have the best start to their day.

We pride ourselves on catering for people with special dietary requirements including dairy free, gluten free, wheat free and vegan and vegetarian.
