In Fog And Falling Snow

The York National Railway Museum Is pleased to be hosting an important play about George Hudson the King of Railway’s he was born just outside York. He had a vision to put York firmly on the rail network between London and Edinburgh. His legacy still lives on but sadly later in his life his railway companies owed so much debt that he fell out of public favour. He fled to France where he was imprisoned. George Hudson died in 1871.
