Well it’s nearly here!! The York Food And Drink Festival starts on the 20th September until the 29th of September 2019. The Beer and Cider Festival is back and this year there will be a gin festival ! There will be lots of food stalls taste trails and cookery demonstrations. This festival proves popular every year and at our bed and breakfast here in York the walk into York just takes 15-20 minutes along the award winning high street ‘Bishyrd’ or you can take the riverside walk which is very pretty. Ready For Some Shakespeare? This is a great chance to see a great Shakespear Theatre production in a stunning setting here in York. The Rose Theatre is a 16th century recreation of the forerunner the Globe and will be built next to the iconic Cliffords Tower here in York. The dates of Shakespear’s plays start on the 25th June and finish on the 2nd September 2018. What a great experience to see a Shakespear’s production in the Rose Theatre just amazing.
