That from the 8th-17th of May 2105 the City will be hosting productions of Shakespeares well known productions in locations across the York. The usual classics will be prefromed from Romeo & Juliet Hamlet Comedy Of Errors Taming Of the Shrew King Lear and Richard The III. If that was not enough there are also workshops you can attend including Pre Show Talks. Booking is quite straight forward just visit the Box Office. From our bed and breakfast here in York we are a 20 minute walk along the very pretty riverside way. You can park your car here for free and just explore our fab City I promise you will love York.
York Grand Opera House
If you love going to the Theatre The York Grand Opera House will be hosting Paul Merton on Fri the 1st of May or Dave Spikey on the 7th of May. The Birmingham Ballet will be at The York Grand Opera House from the 19th-20th of May. But for a sing along what about The Rat Pack on the 23rd of May and if classical music is your thing what about Mozarts Magic Flute on the 30th of May. From our bed and breakfast here in York we are only a 15-20 minute to the York Grand Opera House.
The York Barbican
Is the home to Snooker usually every November/December this year the dates are as follows: from the 24th of Nov-6th Dec 2015. But for you ELO fans The ELO Experience will be here at The York Barbican on the 1st of May. Love Lulu well she is here on the 14th of May Eddie Reader 12th of May Don McLean 15th of May and John Barrowman on the 27th of May 2015. From our bed and breakfast here in York the walk along the riverbank will take you to The York Barbican which usually takes about 20 minutes.
The next Bank Holiday is Spring Bank from the 22nd of May until the 25th of May.
